No one expects the Little Festival of the Unexpected. The annual series of staged readings hips audiences and drama nerds to new works by promising playwrights who may very well change the script in response to your feedback. It kicks off today at Portland Stage Company (25A Forest Ave.) with a reading of Dying to Know, a two-act comedy by David Butler, at 7 p.m., and continues through May 14. Suggested donation: $10. Full schedule at portlandstage.org. 774-0465.
