The Maine Jewish Film Festival takes place from March 12 through 19 with screenings and events at several venues in different parts of the state. The particularly strong line-up of features this year includes three movies showing today at Frontier (14 Maine St., Fort Andross, Brunswick): the comedy Frank vs. God, in which an attorney tries to sue You-Know-Who, at 2 p.m.; Rock in the Red Zone, a documentary about the thriving music scene in Sderot, a conflict-battered town near the Gaza Strip, at 5 p.m.; and Dough, a comedic buddy flick about two bakers who bond over pot pastries, at 8 p.m. Tix: $10 per film ($8 students and seniors). 725-5222. mjff.org.
