Critically acclaimed songsmith Richard Shindell is the headliner tonight at One Longfellow Square (181 State St., Portland), but we’re especially excited about the opening act, Mr. & Mrs. Garrett Soucy, in which the eponymous Maine couple (best known for their work in Tree By Leaf) play material from their new release, Wayword, a concept album that reflects Marshall McLuhan’s media theories through Mr. Soucy’s Christian perspective.
