The late singer and songwriter Gene Clark, a founding member of The Byrds, gets some appreciation tonight at SPACE Gallery (538 Congress St., Portland), where local acts influenced by his signature blend of folk, rock and psychedelia (including Dominic & The Lucid, Chicken Wire, and Jeff Beam) will play his music, followed by a screening of the documentary The Byrd Who Flew Alone.
