Dreams Can Come True at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (21 Winter St., Rockland). Seriously, that’s the name of the interactive installation by the duo Tectonic Industries in which visitors can personally experience the hollowness of consumer self-help culture. Human Topographies, a data-driven and politically pointed series of paintings and collage by Dan Mills is also on view this season, along with haunting 3-D animations by Andrew Elijah Edwards and colorful paintings by Ann Craven. Open today 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission: $8 ($6 seniors and students, 17 and under free). 701-5005. cmcanow.org.
