Sunday, March 6

In 1927, the Austin Organ Company made the mighty Kotzschmar Organ in Portland’s municipal auditorium even more bad-ass, adding its antiphonal organ and other enhancements. That same year, Fritz Lang’s landmark German sci-fi film, Metropolis, was released. Today at Merrill Auditorium (20 Myrtle St.), Peter Krasinski improvises a soundtrack on the organ to that silent classic, at 3 p.m. Tix: $15 ($13 seniors, $10 students). 842-0800. foko.org.
