There’s an excellent double-bill at 3fish Gallery (377 Cumberland Ave., Portland) this month: work by photographers Dan Dow and Jan Pieter van Voorst van Beest. Simply titled Current Work, the show is a departure from the artists’ previous styles, with Dow printing on a variety of unusual, non-photographic papers and Van Voorst slicing and dicing images into sequences and mosaics. The exhibit opened Nov. 6 and continues through Nov. 28; open today noon to 5 p.m. 688-4744.
