Now in its fourth year, the PortFringe theater festival is bigger, cooler and fringier than ever. This year, the non-juried smorgasbord of diverse, edgy and downright odd productions runs from June 20 to 28 at three principal venues in downtown Portland (Geno’s, Empire and Portland Stage Company). Among the nearly 50 shows is J.T. Nichols’ Waiting for God, performed by the Stone Pinhead Ensemble at Portland Stage’s studio theater tonight at 8 p.m. and June 25 at 10 p.m. Tix: $10.
