The world’s largest collection of pulp-fiction artwork is on view at the Portland Public Library’s Lewis Gallery (7 Monument Square). Co-sponsored by Maine College of Art, The Pulps features vibrantly colored, overly dramatic covers from books about the exploits of Secret Agent X, The Mysterious Wu-Fang, The Scorpion and The Whisperer, as well as better-known characters like Tarzan and The Lone Ranger.
