On 52nd Street: The Jazz Photography of William P. Gottlieb is an exhibit of portraits of jazz legends by the late Washington Post writer, who captured performers like Billie Holliday, Nat King Cole and Dizzy Gillespie during the second great Jazz Age of the 20th century. It opened at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art in Brunswick last month and continues through Sept. 14. Open today noon to 5 p.m. Free. 725-3275. bowdoin.edu.
