The great Southern-rock band Drive-By Truckers is back on the road, promoting its 12th album, English Oceans. Founding singer-guitarists Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley are still in the cab, delivering literate lyrics backed with that good ol’ barroom bash-and-crash. Eclectic singer-songwriter Anders Parker and his band Cloud Badge open the 8 p.m. show at Port City Music Hall (504 Congress St., Portland).
