The surreal art-puppetry troupe Figures of Speech Theatre has made a film adaptation of Frankenstein with help from students in its after-school program. Divided into seven episodes, the entire project, along with an exhibit of related set pieces and puppets, shows at Mayo Street Arts (10 Mayo St., Portland) at 7 p.m. (gallery open at 5 p.m.).
