This Sunday is as good a day as any to check out the 2013 Portland Museum of Art Biennial: Piece Work, a more focused, if no less controversial, collection of contemporary art, mostly by Maine artists. The PMA (7 Congress Square) is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, and the exhibit, which opened last month, continues through early January.
