“Les Demoiselles d’Brooklyn”

Monday, August 5

Maine College of Art’s summer series of artist lectures winds up today with a talk by William Villalongo, whose painting, prints, sculpture and mixed-media work takes often shockingly sharp pokes at the racial and sexual mythologies of our day. No chance this one’ll be boring. At MECA’s Osher Hall (522 Congress St., Portland) at 6:30 p.m. Free. 699-1509. meca.edu.
