So last Tuesday in Lewiston they had a reverend talking about the links between queerness and Christianity, and this week another reverend, who’s also a nuclear scientist and a lady, discusses the links between Christianity and science! What’s this crazy world coming to? In fact, the Rev. Amelia Hagen has been giving a series of these talks at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke (143 State St., Portland) this month, the last one being today’s, in which Rev. Hagen tackles the question, “Are humans no more than biological machines?” and other stumpers, starting at 7 p.m. Free. 772-5435. cathedralofstluke.org.
