The Bollard and the BDN
We are proud to announce a new media partnership between The Bollard and the Bangor Daily News.
Beginning this month, I’ll be writing a weekly column for the BDN on Maine politics and Portland politics, life and culture. The column will appear in both the print and online editions of the daily paper (bangordailynews.com), as well as on our Web site (thebollard.com).
In addition, the good folks at the BDN will be linking to our stories and features on their home page. That’s especially exciting, given the enormous size of their online audience. We look forward to showing residents in the northern two-thirds of the state what’s going on down here in Gomorrah.
This partnership is also an opportunity for us to expand and enhance our Web site. Stay tuned for a new look, new features, and more online content every month.
And don’t worry. This doesn’t mean The Bollard has sold out (I won that Lexus at a raffle). We remain entirely independent and locally owned (by yours truly) and have no intention of changing the nature of our coverage.
