Launched online on Sept. 1, 2005, The Bollard began quarterly print publication in June 2007, and monthly print publication in June 2008.   1. Re: Figgy DiBenedetto’s Sichuan Kitchen review: The correct phrase is “full rein,” not “full reign.” “Full rein” refers to having complete freedom of action or control, while “full reign” is incorrect.
    The word “rein” in this context comes from the straps used to control a horse. “Free rein” means having complete freedom, as if the reins are loose and the horse can go where it wants.

  2. After reading “Year 20” I felt the need to send money to you. I actually got around to doing that today but I don’t see how or where to subscribe. I am betting that you can help. True that ?
