Michale Graves.

Friday, September 15

Influx is a collection of multimedia art installations inside and around Biddeford’s Pepperell Mill Campus (2 Main St.) that interpret the relationships between the mill, the Saco River and the city. It opens tonight at 5 p.m. and is on view through Sept. 30. Free. Also happening in Biddeford tonight, at Shevenell Park (145 Main St.) and associated venues downtown, is the River Jam Fringe Fest, which features soulful music by The Youngerbloods, street art and theater, craft beer and much more, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. It’s also free. And in Portland, ex-Misfits frontman Michale Graves brings his band to town to lay down some heavy sounds behind his leather-tough vocals, with locals Covered in Bees and deathless garage-punks The Demon Seeds opening at Empire (575 Congress St.) at 10 p.m. Tix: $12 (21+). 536-1095. portlandempire.com.
