Rock bands from Portland and other corners of New England converge to play a benefit show at Empire (575 Congress St., Portland) for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and others protesting the construction of the Dakota Access oil pipeline. Headlined by Portland prog heroes Five of the Eyes, the bill also includes local indie three-piece Mirth, Massachusetts power trio Long Time and Connecticut alt-rockers Black River Union.
