In the event you need an excuse to go to Oxbow Brewing Company’s Blending & Bottling brewpub (49 Washington Ave., Portland) on a Monday night, here’s an event: the unveiling of a giant geodesic sphere designed by artist Clint Fulkerson. Titled “Pentakis Icosidodecahedron Spaceframe,” the piece will later be installed on USM’s Gorham campus, but you can check it out tonight from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Free (21+). oxbowbeer.com.
