Director Joshua Oppenheimer’s masterful documentary The Look of Silence follows his Oscar-nominated examination of the Indonesian genocide of 1965, The Act of Killing, and takes it to another level, capturing the experience of a survivor (an optometrist) who confronts his brother’s killers while testing their eyesight.
