In the long list of events happening at Bates College this month, this one caught the eye: a production of The Castle of Perseverance, the 15th century morality drama (and the oldest full-length work of its kind known to moderns), directed by Bates senior Max Pendergast. It’s being staged, complete with puppets, at the college’s Schaeffer Theatre March 5 through today’s 5 p.m. performance. Tix: $6 ($3 students). 786-6161. bates.edu.
