At last, there’s a Brazilian choro band in Maine! This up-tempo instrumental music, rooted in the swingin’ days of 19th century Rio, comes alive in the hands of Choro Loco, a local supergroup comprised of flautist Nicole Rabata, flautist/guitarist Carl Dimow, uke master Joel Eckhaus and bassist Kris Day.
