Crash’s trash

I finished reading Crash Barry’s article on recently becoming a medical marijuana patient [“Crash Barry, Cannabis Patient,” July 2011], and sadly, I’m pretty damn appalled.  Is The Bollard anti-medical marijuana? It would seem so due to the allowance of such rubbish to be published on their pages. This article does well to solidify any prejudices held by people who oppose the medical use of marijuana in this state.

The writer not only admits to using his medicine to get himself high, but also reveals that he has illegally shared marijuana with others who do not hold a doctor’s recommendation. While this article may have been written in the name of “entertainment,” it paints a portrait of a person using a good law and a wonderful medicine to get himself and others stoned, and thereby puts the controversial medical marijuana act in a really bad light.
