Briana Marela.

Tuesday, July 2

NOTE — OUR PRINT EDITION HAD THE WRONG DATE FOR THIS SHOW; IT’S TONIGHT: Tuareg guitarist Mdou Moctar plays the desert blues with the seemingly effortless fluidity of a Saharan Hendrix. Maine’s legendary Clay Camero & The County Line Bandits play hazy, transcendent Western music to open the show at SPACE Gallery (538 Congress St., Portland) at 8 p.m. Tix: $14-$16 (all ages). 828-5600. space538.org.

AND: Briana Marela, a singer-songwriter and producer from the other Oakland (not Maine’s), makes lushly psychedelic love songs. Zac Taillon (from our Portland) makes spooky-cool ambient electronica as Other Order. They’re both at The Apohadion Theater (107 Hanover St., Portland) at 8 p.m. Tix: $5-$10 (sliding scale; 21+) 831-9569. theapohadiontheater.com. Meanwhile, on the funky side of town, the groovin’ quartet Hambone jams at Blue (650 Congress St.) at 7 p.m. Free (donations accepted; all ages). 774-4111. portcityblue.com.
